I disagree with you about wishing to be Irish. You are Irish by
descent and therefore entitled to become a full Irish Druid providing
you meet all other requirements, which you do. Searles, if you are
referring to him ? , has, I believe wisely embarked upon this old
Druid path aeons ago before I ever heard of him, and like you, he does
not require my permission or anybody else's either as he qualifies.
Were you to start an Irish Grove tomorrow morning in California, once
it is started with the best of intentions and kept on the path, it
would be an Irish Grove of Druids (or Order if you wish) although six
thousand miles away from the ould sod here in Ireland, spatial
distances of this world do not come into Druidry
Other Irish cultural organisations such as The Gaelic League and
Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann (the Traditional Irish Music association
that I would advise you and all here to hunt down your nearest
American Branch and join) are organized in all major cities and States
across the USA, Australia , Canada, New Zealand etc., self-governing
too, with of course respect for and live links to their HQs in
Ireland.
Personally I feel this is the real way for Druidry to develop in
America.

keyboard and won't) who has since left our presence. Several Druids
call in for computer duties to let me get on with the important
business of administering to Druids and organising, educating,
overseeing training etc etc. I never liked the Internet, hate the

to defend my good name against ,assive organised character
assasination. I have been on computer since 1986, but tried everything
to avoid the Internet until I was forced to come on here to defend my
good name, in, if I remember correctly, January 2006. The majority of
Irish Druids will still not, sensibly, have anything to do with the
Internet. Druid Ian MacArt will not even write or read snailmail,
though he is a former top executive in the Mancester Financial Sector.
If he has a message for you he travels to your door give it to you
orally if it's important, but usually waits until he sees a person
again. Two Druids, man and wife, living in West Cork, will not allow
electricity into their house, Archdruid Melvyn Lloyd disconnected his
television years ago and slung it up in his attic, and if I could get
a few level-headed Druids who do use the Internet (few and far
between) I wouldn't be here at all at this keyboard either. Life is
too good and too short for all this unhealthy sitting and typing !

I've just been on to the phone to the Druid concerned ( I prefer the
phone). He replies that " that little bastard Felber threatened you,
Michael, was telling Lies and Slanders about you that were totally
false, so I tolfd him bluntly, as is my style, what would happen if he
did not stop).

PS: As I have said to Felber, Connors and Co a thousand times, I allow
my computer as a Community computer for Druids and friends who call by
all the time, but these nasties continue to ignore such a simple
honest explanation and carry on making up more and more Lies,
Calumnies, Slanders and Detractions.
Well at least it proves how jealous they are of you. Take it as a
complement.
