The end of time and time and sound and silence are not absolute
things.
Lady Azure and you are both right, you are just describing the
approach to
a change in different ways...ways of describing a change and the
actual change
are some what different...some harsh environmental stuff is coming
due...economic
factors follow...ethical call follow that...we want to avoid world war
as all this
insane grabbing for profit follows...folks with good intentions need
to get together
now, not later, cuz some shit is going to hit the global fan...
we're no where near some end of time, but we are a bit over the line
where all good people
of various views need to learn to work together.
the luxury of arguing about metaphysics and dogma is past. we will
have that luxury again
in the future. for now we have to solve global warming, global
corporations subverting
democracy, oil money subverting farming, reckless gmo projects,
extinctions, etc...
there are something like global pirates raping the planet for short
tertm gains
the UN and various trade treaties have to stop that right away
we are on a knifes edge now..we really don't want to see if we can
call the train wreck back
when it's gone over the edge...we're sort of a decade late at
least....
we need everyday action now, ideas and theories are things we don't

way,
but moving in a sort of slow motion that might be a little too slow to
avert
coastal cities being flooded as global warming progresses...
Coal burning power-plants are the main offenders along with all the

'A meat eating human bicycle rider produces more green-house gases

...If people can just eat vegetarian a few days a week and avoid short
car trips by walking,
and not but SUVs and Trucks....that will make a huge difference....
It needs to happen right away though to give a little time for the
bigger changes...
Global warming first produces more pronounced storms, hurricanes, etc.
then
too much and too little rain resulting in crop failures on top of fuel
costs
to transport food.
China is exporting cheap goods bases on near slave-like labour and
coal powered pollution...
We need to encourage China's economic growth as a step towards
democracy, but we also need
to send a stern message regarding coal pollution and global warming...
That's the tricky part...maybe a campaign to to block goods that are
not produced in a
"green" environment ?
It's a huge issue....China is something like a third to fifth or so of
the global population...
Half the battle...
The Olympics are focusing world attention there....a few comments and

A Crisis, A catalyst in our life
Spirtual development is a science studied by sages since ages. How to
develope this great science the great sages have given lots of
suggestions, opinions,methods, ways,ideas,postulations, hypothesis,
theories, laws, thoughts, words but very few can get to this science. In
chapter 7.3 of Gita Lord krishna explains the phenomenal and noumenal
knowledge to his dear Arjun -Quoate -Lord Krishna, "Out of many
thousandsamong men .one may endeavor for perfection and of those who
have attained perfection ,hardly one knows ME in truth. While Epic hero
Arjun was in state of visahd yoga,in deep crisis and his ageless
friend Krishna gave him such
knowledge by knowing which there shall nothing further to be known.
Barbara Harris whitefied noted that chinese symbol for crisis means
opportunity,Paul Twitchell and Harold Klemp similarly spoken ,crisis
seems to be a ctalyst for spirtual development .Once have a glimpse
of freedon get to liberation. Now what are the regular experience of
crisis which bring us closer this great science of spirtuality.

I haven't smoked a seatbelt for years.

Hi Jerry!
Thought is psychological time...which operates from the past, present,

In meditation, observing psychological time is learning one's thought

Does that mean that spiritual time transcends psychological time?
When doing TM, I no awareness of time nor are there any thoughts by which to
imagine the passing of time but only the experience of pure being itself. It
is only when I return to mundane day-to-day level of consciousness that I
become aware of the limitations and boundaries of time and space.

What psychological time is it? The only reality I observe is now. Any
thing other than that is dreams and ideas. Are dreams and ideas real? )
Doesn't being present in the now, also include an awareness of or at least
the memory of the past as well as cognition of some aspect of the future?

dreams and ideas.

Funny thing, i've been watching the news for the last few months re
global warming
and it seems to me that a lot of folks have pretty much noticed that
the shit has indeed
hit the fan and some what more so...
It's pretty much beyond being some "wako fringe theory" some rape-for-
profit
types wanted to spin it as.

Not sure the reference frame but, it hit the fan when the Storm Geate
got possessed by Nemedia.
Gets worse when I get depressed they hassle us, or start talking ANWR,
especially when they start talking ANWR! |
